Home Matter just finished our entire basement. The team went above and beyond on everything. We have seen so many wet bars through many sites and the wet bar that was designed and built was absolutely perfect.
They beat our expectations. The new bedroom and bathroom are perfect plus their ideas allowed us to keep some of our storage while delivering an amazing product. We enjoyed working with the crew and they always kept us in the loop so we weren’t in the dark.
They were very considerate on the hours and we had no issues with our pet as they block off the basement so our pet didn’t wonder. Highly recommend Home Matters for any project.

Highly recommend Home Matters Construction. We had a big project that we were planning for over 10 years. Interviewed several contractors and only Home Matters was able to give me a clear cut plan with upfront pricing.
Big shout out to Jon our project manager. He addressed every little thing that we had questions about. Very responsive and professional. They did an amazing job with the custom bookshelf door, we love it.

Home Matters Construction completed a quality basement finishing project for us, transforming our unfinished space into a comfortable and spacious living area with bedroom and 3/4 bath. We were very pleased with the professionalism, attention to detail, trustworthiness, and friendly nature of the Home Matters team.
Home Matters kept us informed of the scheduling throughout the project. This helped us plan around furniture delivery and ensure that we were able to enjoy our new space as soon as possible. We knew exactly what we were getting, and the finished product exceeded our expectations.

Tony, the owner of Home Matters Construction was so incredibly prompt. After a terrible wind storm in July, he came to my home the day of my phone call to make an appointment with his company.
It was a Saturday. My biggest concern was all of the shingles that came off my roof. I was so impressed with his knowledge of what needed to be done with all the insurance that would be involved. He made sure that my roof was tarped immediately to prevent anymore leakage into my home.
He was prepared. Brought his drone with him. He made sure he was at my home when the adjuster from my insurance came to inspect the damage. I was able to get a whole new roof because of his communication with the adjuster. There was other damage to the home that Tony took care of with the insurance.
I love my new roof!!! It really gives my home new curb appeal. I have had a lot of neighbors comment on how nice my home looks!

Home Matters managed the complete renovation of our master bath (gut and replace) and updating of 2 other bathrooms. Their communication was very good, the quality of the work was excellent, all of the subcontractors that were in our home were very professional.

Long Review: I am thrilled with the finished product. I am in LOVE with my house and I have home matters to thank.
I initially screened and got bids from 10 different local contractors. I chose Home Matters because they understood the project, had experience in all facets of the work I wanted done, and they were competitively priced, ALL while being able to get the materials and work done quicker than anyone else.
I had Home Matters install all new windows, patio doors and associated trim, along with replacing my siding and new siding on an addition. They listened to everything I wanted, offered input where applicable, and the finished product looks amazing. The owners stopped by multiple times throughout the project to check on progress, and everyone involved treated my home, my family, and my pets with respect and care. Areas being worked on inside were cleaned at the end of the day, and expectations were set for the next day. If scheduling complications arose, I was contacted and made aware. No one can predict the future, but the Home Matters team rolled with the punches and got my job
done in a timely manner, and for the right price.
I would absolutely recommend Home Matters for your next interior or exterior project. Tony, Mike, John, Tyler, Linda, and everyone else were great to deal with, and I will absolutely using them for my next project. You should too.

We wanted to get siding installed. I did get other bids and all were competitive. We chose Home Matters Construction as they were able to get our house done quickly. They were up front about every aspect of the siding process, explained how corners, gutters, soffits and every part of the house would be done.
If there would be an extra cost we were informed immediately and given the option to choose. While the color choices were limited because of the issues with product availability, we were able to get the color we wanted.
The installers were knowledgeable and came to us with questions before they proceeded. I do have to say that it was a noisy process! We are very happy with the work and definitely recommend Home Matters for any of your house needs!!!

We got several bids for replacement of a sliding door and vinyl siding. Home Matters was the best bid and Brian was very eager to earn our business. He followed up while we were deciding but didn’t pressure us.
They did an excellent job on our siding, painting of the exterior windows and garage doors, and on our sliding door replacement. We hit a few glitches and they were taken care of promptly. We absolutely love our new siding and so do the neighbors!

We are very happy we went with Home Matters Construction for our basement finishing project. We had gotten quotes from several companies and were impressed with how organized and professional Home Matters was. The communication was great during the entire project.
There were a few delays due to unforeseen circumstances with product taking longer to come in (not their fault) or crew illness, but they communicated it as it came up and the project pretty much stuck to the schedule. We had heard from others that builders have difficulty getting reliable subcontractors but they obviously work with trustworthy people because everyone was reliable! We appreciated working with Tyler on the project also. Everyone was very responsive to any questions we had or things we wanted to change.
We would definitely recommend them to others (and have) and would use them again for future home remodeling projects.

I got injected into a roof insurance claim for my parents’ home when my father was hospitalized unexpectedly. They had already initiated discussions with Tony and communicated with the insurance company to establish coverage, so from there I mostly just had to be the middleman relaying info between my parents and Tony and setting realistic expectations for the process and end result. I had my own roof redone a few years ago so even though I’m not an expert roofer I am fairly familiar with the procedure – talk with the roofer and verify the insurance company will cover it (minus deductible), wait for the check from the insurance, decide on upgraded style of Class 4 shingle you want in order to save on insurance costs, write a 50% deposit check to the company to acquire supplies, schedule a date for the supply drop and install date, then the roof install is typically 1.5 days plus whatever extra work is done which was gutters in this case, expect the scheduling to not go according to plan, and afterwards get ready to complain about nails being found everywhere. I’ve got a kiddo who loves to walk around barefoot so I pay close attention to nails while also understanding that you legitimately can’t get all the nails.
All in all the process went better than my expectations, aside from the nails issue which was pretty much what I expected but could’ve been done better. Tony is extremely personable and willing to work with you and explain everything in detail and haggle to get as much covered by insurance as possible. There were a lot of different personalities at play here and Tony never flinched and always went the extra mile to make sure everyone was comfortable with the style decisions and work being done. His professionalism wouldn’t even let him skimp on the faux chimney, so he went to the store to paint match the house color and it looks perfect. There were a few scheduling issues along the way but overall once this project got rolling, it rolled fast.
The end result is that my parents got a great new roof for only a few extra thousand dollars out of pocket (deductibel, shingle upgrade, and new attic vent fans) and Tony gets a 4.5 out of 5 stars! (Seriously, I hate nails!)

From the initial visit to the final walkthrough there was constant communication from them on every aspect of the project. Home Matters is that contractor.
Tony and his team exceeded all of our expectations, from the job bid to completion. The level of care and attention they gave to our basement remodel made us feel like we had family working on the project – family who wanted to deliver the absolute best product possible. They didn’t make any assumptions in the design or build, making sure to bring us into all the decisions that compound into a satisfactory finish.
Working during the global pandemic created new and unforeseen challenges to a remodel. Supply chain interruptions, materials cost, permit restrictions, and extra safety precautions were all introduced to our build, but Tony and his team conquered every hurdle without incident.
Tony didn’t make us feel like we were just another source of income. We felt like we had a partner in our project who had equally as much interest in a quality result as we did. At no point did we feel like our project was being rushed. Every detail of the build was accounted for in an online daily project log, complete with photos of the work completed. Using their online customer tool/app, we always had access to the project schedule, documentation, billing, messaging, and change requests. This invaluable access set Home Matters apart from their competition.
I wholeheartedly recommend Home Matters if you’re considering a remodel. I cannot praise them enough for the work they performed. You will not be disappointed in the results!
